Born from a real flatshare
Valéan has been helping people find homes in Luxembourg since 2012. After years of running flatshares, we learned something: the right people matter just as much as the right apartment. And too often, it's left to chance.
So we asked the tenants at our flatshare Orchard 13. At the time, they happened to all be women. What most of them wanted was a women-only flatshare where they have a say in who joins. A home, not a lottery.
Orchard 13 was the proof it works. Ayla is how we're bringing that to every woman in Luxembourg — not as landlords, but as a matchmaking service for flatmates.

How much does it cost to use?
Ayla is free to use. We're launching and want to get it right. If that changes, you'll know well in advance.
How does flatmate matching work?
Ayla uses a psychology-based algorithm to find women who complement how you live and who you are. She looks at your habits, schedule, social energy, interests, and what matters to you at home — then finds women whose lifestyles and personalities fit yours. It's not random. It's not just budget and location. It's real compatibility.

Valéan, a Luxembourg real estate company founded in 2012. After years of managing the flatshare Orchard 13 in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie, we saw how much the right match matters. Ayla brings that experience to everyone looking for a flatmate in Luxembourg.
What do you do with my data?
We use your information to find you compatible flatmates — that's it. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't use it for anything other than matching. You can ask us to delete everything at any time.
Is Ayla safe?
Safer than Facebook groups — by design. Every user goes through verification. So do the flatmates and the rooms. No anonymous listings, no fake profiles, no "send a deposit to this account" scams. A real person reviews every match before any introduction happens. And because it's women-only, you're not fielding messages from strangers with unclear intentions. You're also in control. Ayla only shares your profile with your permission. And you won't get cold messages from people you haven't been matched with. It's not a free-for-all. It's curated.
